    Zephany Nurse’s kidnapper warmly welcomed back home after release

    Family and neighbours of Lavona Solomon, the woman who kidnapped Zephany Nurse 26 years ago, gave her a warm welcome after she spent seven years in prison and was released on parole yesterday.

    But for Solomon, among the smiles and hugs was the sadness of returning to an empty home in disarray.

    Her Seawinds home was once a sanctuary for herself, her “daughter” Miche (Zephany) and husband, Michael.
