Sir, regarding Tony Orman's interesting article in the Winter issue, I would like to respond.

No experienced angler would disagree with the title, as a starting point to a much needed conversation. However, having said that, I will disagree with not only his but some of the other opinions he sourced or quoted, as to the major cause of this, first slow, then rapidly-accelerating decline in numbers of trout, in all our trout waters.

I am not questioning all of Tony's nor his contributors' analysis. Perhaps some of those factors may have been a contributing factor, to a percentage of the decline in specific waters? They are certainly not the most dominant factor in the rest of
