Big in the Netherlands
Minis are big news for Dutch specialist Hofman Leek, a company that has been trading since the 1970s and nowadays deals in classics and sports cars of all types. At the time of writing, there are over 30 different left-hand drive Minis in stock, including Innocenti Coopers, a handful of convertibles, a pick-up and a solitary Moke.
Among the open-top conversions is the one shown below, based on a 1979 Mini saloon and featuring 1098cc power. Hofman Leek reports that the car is a “successfulbe in solid, presentable condition. With an asking price of €8900 (just over £7600), it might appeal to a sun-loving Mini fan on a budget.
