SURVEY Census designed to shed light on ex-racers' fate

British Racing has launched the first ever survey into the future of horses come out of British racing, and ners and other oroughbreds are invited to take part. The project, run by British Racing’s Horse Welfare Board and Hartpury University, is part of the sport’s commitment to improve traceability of all horses bred for racing. The hope is that it will also encourage owners of former racehorses and horses bred for racing to update the ownership details in their horses’ passports.
