Taking the long way home

Waking up in Taupo, the crisp three degree morning reminded us we had left the coast and were now at higher altitudes, and while we were nice and warm in the K-Pod, we glad we could have breakfast in the warm camp kitchen while we planned some exploring detours on our generally direct route back to Wellington.
