German luxury motorhome maker, Carthago, has revealed it all-new C-tourer 145 RB LE in either a low-profile (T) or A-class (I) body for the 2024 season.

Other than the arrival of this new 145 RB LE and the addition of a new Superior special edition, the German manufacturer is leaving the rest of its line-up largely unchanged for the coming season.

The new T/I 145 RB LE models are available on either a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter or a Fiat Ducato coupled to an Al-Ko chassis. Two different engines are available: the 140 or 180bhp for the Ducato, and the 150 or 170bhp for the Sprinter, as well as the option between the standard six-gear manual gearbox or nine-gear automatic transmission for each of these four variants.

The new coachbuilts feature the same layout: fixed twin rear lengthways single beds (up to two metres long) with the exception of the overcab bed in the A-class. The beds are easy to access thanks to optional pull-out access steps, and can be converted into a single bed using an extension. Both beds have wardrobes beneath and there is all-round overhead storage cabinets and open corner shelving.

Below the rear beds is a garage capable of carrying bikes or a scooter, and there is a full double floor throughout.

In front of the beds is a washroom/changing room typical of the brand. The entire area can be closed off from the front to create a huge, private en suite and, by using a solid wooden sliding door, the bedroom can be separated from the washroom and changing room to make it a completely private space.

Forward of this is Carthago’s comfort corner kitchen, which features as standard a three-ring gas hob with divided glass cover and a round stainless-steel sink. A raised kitchen worktop with an additional work surface separates the kitchen from the lounge seating area. The 133-litre Slimtower fridge, with a door that opens at both sides, is opposite the kitchen.

At the front there is an L-shaped lounge with an additional individual side-facing seat, which is also typical of the brand.
