Flint celebrates 70 years of the Corvette

FLINT, Mich. — On Wednesday, June 28, the city of Flint, Mich., honored the 70th anniversary of the Chevrolet Corvette. The special ceremony was two days before the actual 70th anniversary of the when the very first Corvette rolled off the sports car’s first assembly line there on June 30, because the Flint Assembly plant was preparing to shut down that day for a changeover.
