MISS Deaf South Africa (MDSA) is aimed at providing contestants with a transformational journey through leadership development.
The pageant, which will be held in Cape Town on September 9, also strives to assist with personal and skills development. It will be hosted by MDSA, a non-profit company.
For two of the 10 finalists, Portia Naidu and Nikita Pillay, the contest is about empowering the deaf community.
