AMAZING ALI

Mummy, I feel sick and my tummy hurts,’ whimpered my little girl Aliannah, then six.

‘You’re very pale too,’ I noticed.

Ali, the youngest of my four girls and little sister to Sophie, Chelsea and Shae-Lea, then 13, 11, and eight, was usually full of beans so it was unusual to see her sick.

Her temperature was over 40 degrees as well. So I took her to the doctor, who diagnosed a viral infection and advised giving her paracetamol.

Later that day, December 2, 2021, Ali developed purple blotches
