Keynote was originally developed for Apple founder Steve Jobs to use when giving presentations at keynote events. It quickly became clear that Apple had a great product that Mac users would like too. In 2003 it was released to the public, and it came to iOS and iPadOS in 2010. Today it’s free for anyone who buys a new Mac or Apple mobile device.
1 Text formatting
Keynote shares its text formatting features with Pages, so familiarize yourself with the Pages tutorial earlier in this feature. When working with text, click on the Format icon to access the Format sidebar, and you can click the Style tab and add borders, fills, reflections and more. Using the Text tab, you can change the font, point size, justification, and so on.
2 A new document
When you open a new document, you’re offered a range of different templateswith the app. If you want to start fresh, pick one of the basic templates, which simply give you a presentation with one slide, showing a little intro text that can be modified, reformatted, or deleted entirely.
