Your Collection Through the Ebb and Flow

There is no doubt that virtually all of us who have built any type of a collection have a serious love of the hobby. Whether we have been collecting for a short time, or for decades, we enjoy the hunt, enjoy finding one choice piece we have been missing from a series – that one special coin – and simply enjoy having and perhaps displaying what we have collected. These could possibly be called pleasures of the moment, and they can perhaps be balanced against the much longer pleasures that come with putting together some assembly, be it of coins, paper money, tokens or medals. So, let’s get philosophical for a moment, and peer at what we have assembled for ourselves through a much longer lens of time.
