Film: BRITT-MARIE WAS HERE

Fredrik Backman seems to be Sweden’s go-to guy for comedy-drama. The author ofwhich was adapted for Netflix; and which was adapted by HBO. Britt-Marie (Pernilla August) is isolated and stuck in her ways. But her obsessively clean and ordered world is rocked by the infidelity of her husband and when she leaves, she discovers a whole new life in Borg coaching a kids’ soccer team. We hear it’s quite big and Britt-Marie’s life is definitely changed by a sport she previously thought was less important than baking soda.
