The garden consultant and designer has had a long career in horticulture, and he’s written several books on the subject, including Shrubs: Discover the Perfect Plant for Every Place in Your Garden (2019, Timber Press). His own Hampshire garden, Sandhill Farm, opens to visitors by appointment and occasionally for charity.
