The Farr 100 , skippered by Chris Sherlock, took 45h 5m 25s to complete the 605-mile course, experiencing 35-knot winds and 3-4m seas in some places, taking 20 hours off the previous course record, and beating the 2nd fastest boat, Volvo 70 , by five hours.
