What better way to celebrate ten years on the throne than have some friendspalace and its greenhouses and grounds, stopping at intervals along the way to enjoy performances by five different groups – these included the Circus School of Brussels, the Children’s and Youth Choir of La Monnaie opera house and, above, the Young Belgian Strings ensemble. As well as to raise a glass to their majesties, the day was organised to highlight Belgium’s rich cultural scene.
