A SPOT OF BOTHER!

GOOD SKIN HAS ALWAYS been just out of reach for me. My T-zone was terrible as a teen – so much so I was put on the controversial acne drug Roaccutane, which has been linked to anxiety and liver damage. The result? A very red face and spots sprouting back within months of finishing the course.

A stint on the contraceptive pill seemed to solve the problem for a long time but it came atjust couldn’t catch a break! So, I was looking forward to a skin reprieve as I entered my early 40s because acne was only an issue for younger people, right? Wrong!
