I am an avid reader of the magazine, and especially enjoy it when you include articles about the ancient Egyptians. I was fascinated by the recent feature on Egypt’s greatest pharaoh (July), which quite rightly focused on Ramesses II – even if his greatness was self-proclaimed.
Toby Wilkinson’s piece explored the merits of five further pharaohs, all of whom deserve a mention as contenders for title of the greatest.
