Most of the German toy manufacturers were located in the Nürnberg area starting in the 1930s, and the largest German toy fair, “Internationale Spielwarenmesse”, is still held yearly in Nurnberg. It draws manufacturers and attendees from all over the world. The German firm of Tipp & Company was a manufacturer of tin toys and their facilities were located in the Nurnberg area as well. This manufacturer produced a variety of toys that included tin cars, motorcycles, airplanes, boats and track sets to name a few.
