Sewing machine cover

■ Main fabric: 1½yds
■ Pocket fabrics: five (5) 6¼in squares
■ Batting: 22in x 35in
■ Fusible interfacing: 5¾in x 21½in

FINISHED SIZE

■ 21in x 32½in

NOTES

■ Seam allowances are ¼in, unless otherwise noted.
■ Press seams open, unless otherwise instructed.
■ Read the pattern before you begin.
■ RST = right sides together.
■ Fabrics supplied by Art Gallery Fabrics (artgalleryfabrics.com).

FABRICS USED

Solid fabric is Coconut Milk from the Pure Elements collection by Art Gallery Fabrics. Pocket front fabrics are as follows:

■ Coral Reef, Empire Yellow, Royal Cobalt and Festival Fuchsia from the Pure Elements collection by AGF Studio.
■ Backroads Three from the Season of Tribute (Roots of Nature) collection by Bonnie Christine for Art Gallery Fabrics.

CUTTING OUT

1 From the main fabric cut:

■ Two (2) 21½in x 33in (front panel and lining).
■ Three (3) 1½in x WOF (tabs and ties).
■ One (1) 21½ x 5¾in (pocket lining).

2 From the pocket fabrics cut:

■ Three (3) 5¾in squares.
■ Four (4) 31/8in squares (two each from two fabrics).

PREPARING THE TIES

Sew the 1½in x WOF strips together along the short edges to make one long length. Press in half
