To celebrate the 100 years of Japanese whisky, a special event was held at the Tokyo International Forum on 12 April 2023. Organised by Paragraph Publishing, the publisher of Whisky Magazine, the event was also meant to announce to the world the labelling standards for Japanese whisky that were established by the Japan Spirits and Liqueurs Makers Association in 2021.
