Pay cuts mooted as money woes hit agency

PRESSURE FROM UNIONS

LIMPOPO Economic Development Agency (Leda) employees might have to take pay cuts as the agency faces a financial crisis.

Chief financial officer (CFO) Fhumani Magidi told employees that they were approaching a situation that would necessitate pay cuts. Magidi’s remarks followed workers’ demands for salary hikes.
