‘T3’ moves under its own power!

HISTORY was made in the Forest of Dean on July 12, when LSWR ‘T3’ 4-4-0 No. 563 passed its boiler exam at the Flour Mill locomotive restoration workshops – the boiler is now signed off for 175psi, bringing the 1893-built loco’s return ever closer.

After the test was completed, No. 563 was also able to make its first tentative moves in the heritage era under its own steam.
