Little bit of history
With a pedigree in tyre production stretching back to when Continental Tyres was founded in 1871 in Hanover, the company left the agricultural market back in 2004 when it sold its agricultural interests to Mitas in the Czech Republic. When Mitas was taken over by Trelleborg in 2016, Continental reclaimed its brand rights for agricultural tyres back after intervention from the cartels authority.
