Josef Newgarden once more displayed his ‘Mr Iowa’ credentials by scoring two comprehensive wins in the double-header at the 7/8-mile speedbowl, situated among the cornfields in America’s heartland.

Team Penske’s Newgarden extended his streak of oval victories to five, adding this pair to his 2023 Texas and Indianapolis 500 wins and Gateway last year (he also won the first race at Iowa 12 months ago, but crashed out of the second with suspension failure while leading).
