Slain cop was ‘an inspiration to all’

A Durban metro policeman was killed during the hijacking of a truck.

Acting Superintendent Errol Ogle, who joined the metro police force 24 years ago, was shot dead last week.

According to police he tried to stop a truck that was being driven against the flow of traffic on the Hans Detman off-ramp along the M7.
