Daft Punk were the French filtering duo who introduced genres to the world, pioneered production techniques still used to this day, mixed orchestral and analogue synth like no one else, and, more importantly than all of the above, produced some of the most iconic dance anthems ever, often with DIY studio ethos.
After sharing common music tastes in their youth, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter formed Darlin’, named after a Beach Boys track, and a band that Melody Maker famously described as
