Diagnostic reader
Q It is really obvious that an OBD reader would be a huge help to allow me to maintain my set of vehicles. These includes a 2008 Mercedes E220, a 2012 Honda CR-V 2.2, a 2014 Honda CR-V 1.6, a 1999 Mercedes C220 and a 2000 Mercedes E300D. The latter two having old style 38-pin diagnostic plugs. I realise that I might have to buy an adaptor separately. Can you recommend a reader which could cover this range of vehicles? I’d like to be able to reset as well as just read codes. Great if it had lifetime updates and from a supplier who gives good support. The funds available would be somewhere between £300 and £450 for the right reader as I am an enthusiast rather than a pro.
Thanks a million for any help you can provide.
