Anew species every week over 12 months is a phenomenal achievement for any sea angler. Yes, we’ve heard of some anglers with unlimited time getting way more than this, but realistically, those of us with full time jobs, financial commitments and families to take care of do not have the time, nor the travel finances, to target many more than 50.
The best I ever did was 54! That was in a year when I worked 50 full weeks as well as having 16 weekends away working trade shows and tackle shows. My actual fishing time was tight, but what pulled me through was the knowledge I’d built up previously which allowed me to maximise what time I had.
