Many of us, when given the option to purchase a gadget rather than struggle to MacGyver something, probably go with the former. DIY DISHWASHING
Yvonne Siebrits Hattingh is from Vredenburg and her husband, Gideon, is quite a handyman. He put together a dishwashing table with folding worktops.
“My husband built this sturdy dishwashing station for me. It's a little high, but I can wash what I need to in soapy water in one basin, rinse offin the next and place the clean wet items in a drying rack. Unfortunately, it'snot a folding item, but stows quite snugly in our little caravan. We lie it on its side on the double bed, and place the microwave in-between its legs with a few other loose items to help secure it.”
