After several weeks of hot, dry weather, wouldn’t you just know it that when the car show season gets into gear it becomes more changeable? As the weekend of the Classic American Stars & Stripes show kicked off, the weather was, well... very British! All was not lost though, as the occasional showers were short and sweet and the grey overcast sky offered nothing more than just threats.
The great thing about the Stars & Stripes is that it Stars & Stripes show is probably now officially the biggest American car show in the north of the UK and its continued popularity seems to be based on a winning formula of a fantastic variety of vehicles, from military to big rigs, motorbikes and every type of American vehicle one can imagine, from Model Ts right through to the latest Mustang or Corvette.
