WE LOVE KICKING OFF a build by going to the core chassis and finding out exactly what we’re working with. Corsair has made this process very easy for us, as you don’t need any tools to get to the key parts of this machine. The top, front, and back panels simply pull off with even pressure, and then what’s left are the two remaining side panels. These each have two thumb screws (top and bottom), so loosen these and slide the panels backward to release them. Here, we can now see the case in all its glory, and squirm a little bit as we realize that space might be an issue when piecing this machine together. Luckily, we don’t have to mess around with any AIO coolers or additional fans, as the case fans are already in place and connected to the pre-installed RGB fan controller.

WE NOW NEED to carefully put our case to the side and focus on the motherboard, as we will be installing our CPU first. We also like to keep all the panels safe inside the case’s box until we need them at the end of the build. It’s recommended to build on top of the motherboard’s box when installing components.
First, we need to lift up the retention bar on the side of the socket to open the CPU bracket. If you have a new motherboard, your socket
