THE THING ABOUT PORCELAIN!
Before you begin, it’s really important to understand certain things about porcelain because it doesn’t handle in the same way as other clays. Some might say it’s a crazy choice to pinch with, but it is possible with perseverance. What is important to realise is that you have to understand it, and you can only do this with practice. So, if it all goes horribly wrong when you first try – try again and again, and each time you will learn something else. It’s a bonding exercise.
Here are a few extra pointers to help you on your porcelain journey.
● Porcelain has a very fine particle size and is the least plastic clay to work with – it is difficult to both throw and hand build
