The self-described “little fanboy” has had to “push through some dark times” on Australian Survivor: Heroes V Villains – and the hardest part is being at the bottom of the pecking order in his alliance.

“I’m not part of all the conversations, I’m still sleeping outside the shelter and I never get to share the blanket,” tells the Brisbane carpenter. “It’s really lonely and so heartbreaking.”

Simon says it was a “dream come true” winning an individual immunity challenge, which was something he didn’t have the back in 2021, but he’s struggled with the backlash on social media – something his on-screen nemesis “King” George has helped him with.
