AROUND 2005/06, Moby Grape started recording a new studio album, sparked by a chance encounter between Jerry Miller and John Mellencamp’s,” explains Don Stevenson. “It has myself, Jerry, Peter, Skip’s son, Omar, Kenny Vaughan from Tennessee, plus Dane and Jon E Gee from Mellencamp. All the songs are Moby Grape originals and it’s a really powerful album.”
