FOLDABLE FUTURE

GOOGLE PIXEL FOLD

Google has now officially entered the foldables market with the Pixel Fold – and the aesthetics of this device don’t stray too far from previous Pixel devices, apart from the folding screen part. There’s the distinctive raised bar around the rear camera (a triple-lens 48MP + 10.8MP + 10.8MP affair) for example, and the subtle Google logo on the back. When it comes to the key specs, the Pixel Fold runs on the same Tensor G2 chipset as the Pixel 7 phones, and that’s combined with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage. The main display opens out to a size of 7.6 inches, while the cover display measures 5.8 inches, and Google says the battery life will get you through a whole day.
