A REFRESHING VIEW

HOW refreshing Mark Phillips' comment (29 June issue) was. With his depth of knowledge of eventing, riders and coaches must listen.

When riders encounter a problem cross country it is all too easy for some to simply hope it doesn't worsen, rather than correcting the mistakes with their coaches.
