Happily married and living the true American dream, Erin Corwin was a teen who had proved that young love was something that could work out.
After meeting her husband Jon Corwin when she was just 10, a friendship blossomed over the years in California and the pair eventually started dating when Erin turned 16, in 2011.
And in November 2012, after Jon asked permission from Erin’s parents, the couple tied the knot.
Newlywed and excited for the future, the pair then moved to a Marine base in Twentynine Palms, California, known as the home of Joshua Tree National Park, where they formed close-knit relationships with other career focused couples.
Especially Christopher Brandon Lee, 27, his wife Nicole and their six-year-old daughter.
