‘WE HAVE PREPARED OURSELVES VERY WELL’

DHEERAJ GOPICHAND HINDUJA, Executive Chairman of Ashok Leyland, is highly optimistic about the company’s potential for growth in the coming years. Apart from strengthening its core heavy vehicles business, the 52-year-old has focussed on powering the company into the unfamiliar light vehicle territory, and has also crafted a multi-fuel plan to prepare for the future. Sales were falling, not just for you, but commercial vehicles overall, even before the pandemic…

I guess 2018 was the peak for the industry. And the industry always goes in cycles. In 2012-13, there was a down cycle.
