One minute into listening to RökFlöte, the new album from Jethro Tull, you’ll know it’s serious business. The opening track, “Voluspo,” begins with a few seconds of eerie deep breathing, followed by Reykjavik actress, singer, violinist Unnur Birna (who also plays on the album) speaking in old Icelandic in a manner that could hardly be called “jaunty.”
