OBSERVATION 101
You don’t need to use a telescope – sometimes 7x50 binoculars are better. Avoid nights with a full moon,! Use a red torch to read the maps at night, and don’t use a phone unless it only emits red light (some astronomy apps do this). Our eyes are less sensitive to red colours than blue colours, so never use blue or white lights!
