This Milwaukee-based industrial business provides technology that helps everyone from car makers to biscuit factories automate their manufacturing processes. Shares are already up by 25% this year thanks to Washington’s push to “re-shore” manufacturing in America. More upside could lie in store: about 30% (and rising) of total revenue is generated by sales of software. If investors conclude that Rockwell is really a technology stock, then a rerating could follow.
