SHEARING a sheep sounds like a fairly simple thing to do. After all, they’re woolly and docile and it’s surely just a case of grabbing some clippers and getting to work.

Zwelamakhosi Mbuweni quickly sets us right on this score and explains why it’s anything but simple.

“You need to be gentle but tough to get the sheep in a position that can work for you to do your job,” he says. “You need to be patient and caring at the same time.”
