Poised to join the YSR Congress Party in Andhra has had two meetings with YSRCP chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in the second week of June. Rayudu is ready to contest either for a Lok Sabha seat or an assembly one in the Guntur region considering both elections are due concurrently. With current Machilipatnam MP V. Balasoury eager to contest the assembly election, Jagan may find the former batsman better-suited for the Lok Sabha race from that constituency.
