The Knitter

Martindale

THIS SWEATER vest, designed by Pat Menchini, features panels on the front and back with flowing, Celtic-inspired cables. Each panel is edged with cable twists, as are the two front pockets. The front bands are knitted separately in 1x1 rib then sewn on, while the armhole borders are knitted on in 2x2 ribbing. Pat’s garment uses The Croft Aran, a pure Shetland wool from West Yorkshire Spinners which comes in a range of warm, handsome colours.
