SCULPTURAL FORM

For AUN Design Studio, the staircase of this Bangkok home was a chance to do something extraordinary. Positioned in the centre of the home, it doubles up as a sculpture inspired by the folding and sculpting techniques of origami – thus addressing the owner’s love of art at the same time. Perforated steel gives the staircase its semi-transparent look, floating above a steadfast base of three concrete steps.
