In April, less than a year after it opened, the Hong Kong Palace Museum (HKPM) welcomed its millionth visitor—a landmark achievement, particularly considering the city had largely been closed to visitors since the museum’s July 2022 opening. April also saw the opening of, a collaboration between the maison and HKPM featuring approximately 300 pieces of jewellery, watches and other accessories created by Cartier, from the 19th century to spoke to Dr Louis Ng, director of HKPM, to learn more about the exhibition and the museum’s programming strategy.
