Kel Harmer and her husband Dan were ready to move into a house after living in an apartment, and the new build they spotted in Portishead ticked all the right boxes. ‘We’d been looking for houses in this area of Bristol before stumbling across this one, and the location was perfect, with the seafront, marina and a nature reserve all within walking distance,’ Kel recalls.
With two young children, the couple were not looking for a project that needed a total renovation, so loved the generous size of the rooms
