I’ve just come back from a Wingfoil Racing World Cup in Silvaplana, the beautiful lake, 1800 metres up in the Swiss Alps. Wingfoiling is a seriously aerobic sport at the elite level. The harder you pump your legs to work the foil through the water, combined with pumping your arms to wind-whack more air into the wing, the higher and faster you can go upwind.
