CANARIES
MY UNDERSTANDING of the cinnamon inheritance in canaries often feels rather will-o'-the-wisp or Angel's Share. It is a bit like those mornings when, on wakening, we struggle to grasp the last few vanishing seconds of a dream, which 10 minutes later has utterly evaporated and remains permanently beyond recovery.
I do try to learn - no, I really do. As a younger person, I knewof mutations has, I regret to admit, placed recovery of that knowledge beyond my attention span. That's the nearest you'll come to an admission from me that I am getting older!
