All change… for the better!

CANARIES

Following such a late start to the breeding season, with the North frills and Lancashires coming into condition a couple of weeks later than normal, it was a great relief to see nests being built and eggs laid when the pairs were finally introduced.

Our last couple of seasons, particular with the frills, have been exceptionally good, with 80-odd young in 2021 and just over 50 lastcanaries were physically fit and the cocks were singing with plenty of volume, and yet they never seemed to reach a true state of excitement when they were literally bouncing around.
